Affiliate Bootcamp 5: The Super-Short Social Media Guide

Want to dive a little deeper into your affiliate journey on social media? But not so deep you’ll drown? Read on.

Getting close to the finish line now.
Just one, final chapter left of Noveltyville’s Affiliate Bootcamp😀

But we’ll make it quick, we promise!

Actually, we have to. Because if we were to give you a thorough briefing on all things related to selling on social media, you’d be reading for a whole year at least.

So, let’s stick with the basics, and provide useful links so you can dive deeper into the areas you want to focus on.

Here we go!

Pick Only Three Platforms To Start With

In the beginning of your affiliate journey, you want to make it easy for yourself. And if you focus on just 3 social media platforms, you won’t be overworked. Plus, you’ll get to know them better, learn the tricks, the do’s and the don’ts, and the who’s who and the what’s what.

The goal is to become the trusted expert, not a confused and panicky spammer.

As for which three platforms you should choose, that is really up to you. Each have their own demograhic, their own culture, and their own rules. And btw, there is at least 101 different social networks to choose from.

Yeah.

Our Top 9 Social Networks

In no particular order, our top 9 networks are:
Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, Pinterest, TikTok, Snapchat, and Quora.

And we’ve already collected some fresh and juicy articles that can help you get more from your affiliate marketing on these sites. So, just scroll down to find a link to the social network you prefer, and start reading🤓

And don’t worry if you can’t find your favourite here, like Gab or Medium. Google is your friend and we’ll show you how to use it wisely in the next (and final) segment.

Just Google It!

Well, that tiny guide only covered 9 out of 101+ social networks.
But if you want the inside scoop on a platform we haven’t listed already, and you want the latest and greatest info – read on.

The search term we’ve found that yielded the most interesting and useful results, is this one: “Affiliate marketing on *Social Network Name*” And the top 5 Google results are usually the best sources.

Now, what could happen with the older platforms like Facebook, is that you get a lot of really outdated articles and answers popping up. So, if you want to stay current, use the tools option on your Google search to filter out the old stuff.

The default option is ‘Any time’, which means you could end up with blog posts from 2011. So, make sure you change that to ‘past year’ when you search for info.

And that’s it for Noveltyville’s Affiliate Bootcamp!

Have fun 🥳and make lots of money💰
